Hello and Welcome to the Augustine Family Online home! This site has been completely redesigned and now includes a content management system that will allow family members who register with the site to upload their own photo's, as well as add events to the website's calendar and submit their own news articles.
When this site was originally put online 7 years ago, it was a website for Travis and Stephanie Augustine, since then, the family has grown to include Stephanie and Travis's son Kayden, as well as their pets Chase, Loki, and Gentoo.
Most recently, Stephanie and Travis decided to once again expand the website to include all of the Augustine Family, as well as Stephanie's Family, so we hope to see a lot of people visit this site and look forward to watching this site grow. If you need help using this site, you can contact Travis at [ image disabled ] or call him on the phone.
Let us welcome to our, or maybe even your, online home. Kick back, relax, and enjoy the site as it will be growing and changing over time as Travis gets more familiar with this site and starts to add more content and features.
Let the Destruction...uhh...I mean Remodeling Begin
Well its finally happened. Travis has gotten started on remodeling Kayden's new Bedroom and bringing it into the 21st Century from the 1950's that its been stuck in. You can check out the progress here.
Happy Birthday Dad! I guess one could say that you are now officially "Over The Hill." I really enjoyed your party and look forward to how you get your revenge on Mom in a few months. Submitted by W9HDG
Well unemployement only lasted one month. Travis set himself a goal to have a job by the end of January and he suceeded. He is currently working for Broadband Solutions Inc. installing cable TV in residential homes. Broadband Solutions is a contractor for Charter Cable.
The only bummer is that while Travis is once again employed, he had to take a $8.00/hr pay cut to become that way. Oh well, at least Travis has a job.
Well for those of you who don't know, Travis lost his job with Greenheck fan due to the current economic downturn. Be assured that we are managing to make ends meet with unemployment, but things are considerably tighter.
Travis is currently considering his options and while he is looking for a job, he is also looking at several options for returning to school to finish his degree, as well as the posiblity of starting his own business in the IT/Tech world.
We ask for nothing except for your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes.
Kayden's PreKindergarten class took its first fieldtrip to Wilke's Pumpkin Patch and Corn maze, Dad went too (but he wasn't allowed to ride the bus because it was full.)
Well, its begun, Kayden had his first day of school this Tuesday, and he must have enjoyed himself because he started crying when Travis showed up at 11:00am to bring him back home. Now every morning his bounces out of bed at 7:00 when his alarm clock goes off and starts talking about school while eating his breakfast. Pictures of his first day of school are here.
Tuesday, as long as Travis has the Camera out for taking pictures of Kayden's first day at school (4yr old Kindergarten,) he also took some picture of our new home for the Photo Gallery, they can be viewed here.
Well, the big move has begun. Thanks to Mom and Dad Augustine (Grandma and Puppa), and Travis and Stephanie's friends, Joe Mullan, Dave Leverson, and Matt and Kim Baumann we have made major headway, there are just a few odds and ends left at the old house that we will work on getting over the rest of Independance day weekend.
Thank you to Everyone, and especially to the people who fought to make this county free thus giving Stephanie and I the ability to own our own home.
With the price of everything going through the roof, Stephanie and Travis have elected to sell their house in the country and move into a 4 bedroom raised ranch on the North side of Wausau. The advantages of moving to Wausau far out weight the joys of living in the country. Some day we will return to the beloved woods of Wisconsin.
To view pictures of the move, check out the Photo Gallery.
